Our Story

At Catafago, our journey began in the 1940s when it was established by Charles Catafago. In the 1960s, a partnership was formed with Mohammad Hassouneh, propelling the company into becoming a well-known pharmaceutical entity within the market.

Building upon this foundation, in 1996, after graduation, Rabih Hassouneh joined forces with a group of four visionary pharmacists, Salim Itani, Ismail Jalloul, Ramzi Azzam and Anas Mehio, to restructure and revive the company, ushering in a new era of operations.

By collaborating with esteemed biopharma companies, dedicated care providers, diligent pharmacies, innovative manufacturers, forward-thinking hospitals, and various stakeholders, we pave the way for better access and affordability of quality care.
